About the painting:

As a Dutch artist, I cannot escape the fascination with the beautiful Dutch skies.
Who doesn’t dream away at those cotton-like shapes in the sky.
As a child, my friends and I used to point out to each other which animals we recognised in the sky.

I love it when the sky changes colour and I tried to capture that in this painting. The humid air bringing out the colours orange and pink among the clouds.
